New Things

So new things.  First off me and Dominic have been living together which is going swell.  I'll probably show you guys a few things from home in time, maybe get in some pics of Dominic as well.

So above are a few more little cuties other than my dear Harlequin that may pop up on here every once in a while, basically mine and Dominic's kids lol.  Top kitty in black and white and being a bit mischievous is Dominic's kitty Gigabite.  Next little kitty is mine and Dominic's shared kitty named Belle, I introduced her in the previous post, she's our little princess who can be quite a pesty one at times lol.  And last but not least our betta Apache, he was my Mom's fishy but she left him to me to care for.  Got him an amazon sword plant which he really seems to like.

Well enough with introductions lol.

Been thinking of getting bangs for a bit, would try out the look by folding over my hair to get an idea of what the real things would look like.  And well decided to go for it.  Ended up watching a bunch of Youtube videos on how to cut bangs, went to the store and purchased some proper hair cutting scissors.  Soon after the end of the school semester, snip snip away I went.  Must say It was a bit hard to see my hair, that took forever to grow, fall into the sink.  And my hands got all sweaty and shaky the whole time.  But I absolutely love the outcome.  Now that I learned how to cut my bangs trimming them will be a cinch.

Now if you're thinking of getting bangs I recommend doing a bit of research to pick our your favorite bangs.  I chose to use Natalie Suarez from Natalie Off Duty as my bang guide, she has the ultimate cutest bangs.

 

Well here's the end results.  Must say I definetly feel the bangs fit me perfectly.  Will have some new looks to share with you.  Most of them will be a bit older looks before the bangs, but decided to cut down to only my favorites so we won't be stuck into my past looks for too long.

Change, Optimistic, Eventful Life

Life's been crazy.  So much is changing.  My parents are moving to Texas this weekend, where as I live in California.  Me and Dominic are moving in together.  We got a kitten together quite recently, she's an adorable mostly gray calico.  We named her Belle after Dominic's favorite Disney princess.  So we will be a happy house of three lovely kitties.  School is always busy.  Just landed two part-time jobs since gona need money to rent the house.  I have a retail job in a ladies clothing store, there's so many cool, hip fashions I want to buy much, lol but have to save for the house.  And my other job is a cashier/order taker in fast food.  My grandparents, aunt, and cousin are visiting me and my boyfriend in our home this weekend as well; we'll be seeing a fashion show at my school.  My brother's 21st birthday is also this weekend.  The end of the semester is coming near with just three weeks left of papers, projects, and the big finals to study for.  Lol still find ways to keep happy and optimistic about everything.  I suppose change and an eventful life is a good thing.

Apologies for the long gap between post.  Hope to post more often.  Also sorry for no new looks lately, believe me I want to post them, have many backed up waiting to be talked about.  But now have to run to the store before it gets too late.  So enjoy this video of Licorice, my mom's kitty, playing in the backyard attacking buggies :P

Hope you had a wonderful Easter.  Spent most of it just me and my mom.  But first visited Dominic and brought him a chocolate bunny, gave my family all chocolate bunnies :3  Then got a cute basket of candies and chocolates from my mom.  We had a wonderful lunch from Marie Calendar's, with my brother and his girlfriend there in the beginning eating pie.  Then we cruised some stores, found not much is open on Easter, bummer cuz we wanted to go to the mall.   We did some gardening and found my mom is a lot stronger on the mower than I.  Relaxed for a bit then my brother and his girlfriend came back and we watched 10 Years, which was an interesting movie about a school's ten year reunion.  Ha we still haven't dyed our eggs, all well later.

Well had plenty of sleep this night, ended up sleeping in ah relaxation.  Oh happy April Fools.  I'm not much for playing tricks on people.  But if anyone has some wonderful April Fools pranks to share, I'd love to hear them :D

This is what happens when I eat a bunch of candy and chocolates before bed on a stormy night.  Was truly difficult to fall asleep. Lol guess no longer the nights of downing sweets and falling asleep right after.

Bits From My Life

Sure do love that cat of mine.

 One of my healthier breakfasts of scrambled eggs with salsa, cheddar cheese, and oatmeal with fresh strawberries.  Been trying to eat healthy things, less of items with fructose corn syrup and such junk food, and more fresh real foods.  Think my body can actually tell the difference, feel more awake and alive.

 

 So this super cute tiger cub was born at the San Francisco zoo.  How incredibly cute ^-^  Spent some time in Starbucks drinking my tea and reading the newspaper well Dominic was having an interview at his job for a higher position; so proud of him.

 

 Found these comics to be the funniest of the the day.  Love the comics, been reading them since I was a little girl.  Well my grandma reads her morning newspaper, drinking her coffee, she always pulls out the comics for me to read beside her.

 

 

 Oh and got to put together my first Easter basket this week, it was so much fun!  Me and Dominic were running all over the store grabbing candies, and toys as I told him of the kinds of toy I used to like when I was little.  The dang plastic covering to a while to find though, lol.  So when we put it together we found there was more candy than we could fit in the basket, so we ended up having some yummies for ourselves.  Sadly won't get to see his son open it this Easter since we'll be shipping it to him.  But man I love putting together gifts and giving people a special little present just for them.

 Today is the day for boiling the eggs, and we'll be dying them tomorrow.  Hopefully they come out as awesome as last years.  I just love all the beautiful colors.

Oh so have I mentioned that I love The Beatles?  Was listening to their Strawberry Fields Forever song, it's quite charming, so I went to look for the music video of it but couldn't get the html.  So I shall leave you with this link "here" to check out their video.

Another perfect temperature spring day.  Felt like trying something different by combining these two brightly colored pieces for an interesting look.  Tried to calm it down a bit with the black sweater and necklace in the same color as the top.  

 And what could be better than enjoying some mm mm tart frozen yogurt with fruit, chocolate and nuts on this wonderful day ^-^  Well relaxing outside, the movie theater let out a bunch of people an explosion of kids everywhere.  Parents and children playing in the fountain of stairs.  It's so interesting watching people and how different everyone is.  One mother was pulling her daughter away from playing to make her pose in playing positions lol.  Feel that it would have looked much better taking photos of her daughter well she was truly playing.  Some wouldn't let their kids touch the water, what a silly thought I think.  And this one father wouldn't let his son run around with the other children, poor kid looked so lonely.  Sigh.. people are interesting.  Suddenly a gust of wind blew my empty contents down the sidewalk, I went chasing down after them, tossed them away and headed back to the solitary of my not quite empty home of pets.

New news though.  My brother came over to stay for a while, looks like he'll be celebrating Easter with us.  And will be picking up my mom from the airport in the morning.  Soon we will all be dying eggs.  Going to try to get them to go on a few of the carnival rides with me; it's literally down the street from my home, but sadly for a few days.

Life Of Pi

 

Last night was quite wonderful, I stayed up super late with Dominic watching Life of Pi.  It was truly a wonderful movie, so much beauty, and a magical story.  Definitely something you must see if you have not yet seen the movie.

So was looking up some images of the movie and found some of this very cool art work.
