Late Night Bathroom Fashion

These pictures are from a bit ago.  

Was taking these pictures late at night with my mom to post on Lookbook.nu 

but decided afterwards that they were not good enough to be posted with my other looks.  

But then I was looking back at them today and realized "Hey I can post these on my blog."  

So here they are.

This was when my mom got her new kitty Licorice.  

She has since then grew into her ears and grew too big for that collar ^o.o^

Kitty turned into a turtle!

I absolutely love the sounds of the 60s.
And whoever doesn't love the Beatles must be out of their mind lol.

Getting ready for my friend Christina's son's birthday party now.

Leon's turning 3 years old.

Got him a pumpkin ball and a Halloween pack of  snack size M&Ms.

She says he loves M&Ms ^-^

So tossed the bag in the fridge to keep them cool 'til then;

it's hot out here you know.

Aw I love birthday parties.

I hope he gets cake all over his face,

Taylor Momsen

So the club, Fashion Inc, was talking about shows we watch for the fashion in it and I noticed a lot of members mentioned Gossip Girl.  So today I decided to check it out well cruising through the channels on TV.  Found that I don't really find the show interesting, but they do feature a lot of great fashions.  It is on the Style network so they better ha ha. 

Anyways I noticed the actress Taylor Momsen on it and remembered how the magazines, possibly a year ago, were writing about how she is in a band now, The Pretty Reckless, and went all rebellious. 

So I thought, "What the heck, I wana check that out."  Found her site and started up her latest video (below).  I really like her dark eyeshadow and dark, wine colored lips in the video.  Thinking of trying that out myself sometime; maybe for a night out before I try it in the daylight.  My boyfriend, Dominic, may freak over the make-up; all well bwah ha ha.

 Must say, I do like this new style of her's, very rocker girl.  The music is very kick a**, hell ya to the women sort of thing.  I'm really liking it, and absolutely love that long hair; I have a bit of long hair envy since I've been trying to grow my hair out for a while now.  

So the music from The Pretty Reckless made me think back to that Joan Jett movie, The Runaways.  

I absoultely loved this movie.  Gives me an idea of how Joan Jett was back then.  And Joan Jett's music is awesome, it makes me jump up and down and want to live fearlessly.  I had to go look up more of her music after I saw that movie.

Model For An Artist

These pictures are from when I modeled for my classmate John, during the fall semester of 2011.
Of course I was always fully dressed,
think I'd be to shy to bare it all like the models in figure drawing classes.
I would have to hold a pose for 40 minutes with occasional stretching
then back to the pose well John sketched away.
His artwork is so lovely.
He'd add in an imaginary background to some of the drawings.
We would go to different locations at Fresno State for these sketches
well students passing by would stop to watch and comment;
definitely made me nervous, but totally stayed still the whole way.

This is a must for everyone.
Model for an artist.
It is so much fun to see how you are re-created on paper through someone else's eyes.

Old Art & New News

Here is an old sketch I did of my self a while ago.
Believe I used Myspace to make it all cool like this.
Aw remember the old days of Myspace before the awesomeness of Facebook came out?
As you can see I am very interested in sketching people in an anime, big-eyed style.
Anime characters are just so freakin' adorable. 

My life is much more filled with fashion now.
I am and official fashion merchandising major and classes have been up and running.
Started my fall semester, first semester at Fresno State; yay bulldogs! 

Life has been so busy.
Sorry about no new pics of my looks lately.
Needing a connecting cord from my phone to my computer to get some looks posted.
Money is coming, so soon will be some awesome looks.
It's crazy, I've come up with so many great looks lately but no evidence to show.
Can't wait.

Now I probably have legs of steel, lol no more lazy legs.
Been biking everywhere.
It is my current source of transportation.
Bike to school, bike to boyfriend, Dominic's, house, bike to run errands.
Have this saddle basket one side of my bike now, thanks to my lovely Dominic.
It definitely makes running errands so much nicer.
No more sweaty back from carrying my backpack while riding, eww lol. 

Also I have recently joined Fresno State's Fashion Ink club.
So excited about that.
Want to be so involved in that club to get the most out of it.
Also I found that they run a fashion show each year, how exciting is that?
Definitely want to be part of that.

No luck on the search for a part-time job.
But who knows, maybe I can grab some attention of a clothing store
with this new club to add to my resume.

Ah!  I made some awesome lemon cupcakes for my parents yesterday
as congratulations for finishing their CERTS classes;
classes in how to handle emergency situations.
They have yellow lemon frosting and rainbow sprinkles on half the batch,
and the other half has some red icing dabbed on top kinda looking like little flames;
lol cuz the class was taught by the Clovis fire department.
Ah more pictures I wish I could show.
